Opening Account Procedures:
FNBCoweta is dedicated to helping our government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities. The USA PATRIOT Act, a Federal Law, requires that all financial institutions obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. This includes both personal and business accounts.
What this means to you:
When you open an account at FNBCoweta, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information which allows us to positively identify you. We may also ask to copy your driver’s license or other identifying documents. If you are opening an account on behalf of a business entity, documents related to the business may also be requested.
